At the the dawn of the 21st century, with the digital revoltion over and won, somebody estimated that American business was actually using far more paper than ever before in history: 775 billion pages of paper per year, enough to make a stack 48,900 miles high.
Yet in this avalanche of paper, how many personal letter do you get each week?Each month? Each year?
If the answer make you feel lonely, well you are not alone. Although our mailboxes are jammed with more paper than ever, fewer of those envelopes contain personal messages.
